WOW, WOW and another WOW!!!
Wow, wow and another wow! What a fall season we have had at Rio Parismina Lodge! We started our fall season on the 20th of August and we fished the ocean every morning and every afternoon except for one p.m. session. I cannot remember a better season EVER!! The weather and the ocean were nearly perfect everyday! The Tarpon were plentiful and the other species gave our anglers plenty of action. We had enormous schools of bait fish at the mouth of the Parismina River and the Tarpon were ever present at their favorite dinner table, Rio Parismina! Some days there were so many Tarpon at the river mouths that it was hard to tell which were hooked on someones line or which were merely free-jumping chasing their favorite snack-Sardines! At times it looked as though someone had turned the sprinklers on with the glass minnows showering all around the boats! The big-eyed and blackfin Tunas showed up and provided everyone a favorite boca time snack, Sashimi! The grilled Tuna steaks were a tasty treat for a lot of our guests. Other species present this fall were Wahoo, King Mackerels, Triple Tails, Cobias, Jack Crevalles and the toothy Barracudas! We were pleased to welcome a lot of new international anglers from around the globe. This fall season we were privileged to host groups from, Italy, Argentina, Russia, Poland, Brazil and Latvia. Of course, our always loyal American guests were right on hand to make everyone feel welcomed and the different languages didn't pose a barrier for anyone!
